Reynolds, who brings over two decades of global consulting experience, will join FWD after serving as Partner and Head of Industries for Asia Pacific at Oliver Wyman, where he previously led the firm’s operations in Greater China.

Reynolds will be a member of the FWD Group Executive Committee and will report directly to Phong.

Commenting on his new role, Reynolds expressed enthusiasm about joining FWD during a time of growth in Asia’s insurance sector. “Over the last 11 years, the FWD team has built a fast-growing company that is making insurance easy, accessible, and affordable for millions of people across Asia. With the middle-class population set to grow further in the region, this is an exciting time to be joining FWD and changing the way people feel about insurance,” he said.

Reynolds has a strong background in international consulting, with experience in London, New York, and most recently, Hong Kong. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in modern history and economics from the University of Oxford and an MBA from INSEAD.

His appointment signals FWD’s continued focus on expanding its market presence and driving innovation in the insurance industry across Asia.
