Biography

Professor Sneh Khemka MBChB MRCOphth MFHP (Hon) is a well-known figure in the world of healthcare.

He trained as a cancer surgeon in Edinburgh and London before setting up his own digital healthcare business.

He has occupied roles as the Global Medical Director for Bupa, Chief Operating Officer for Advanced Oncotherapy PLC, which is a spin off from CERN (home of the Large Hadron Collider), and Head of Population Health at Aetna/CVS Health, the US healthcare giant.  He has recently stepped down as CEO of Simplyhealth, the 150 year old company which is transforming healthcare in the UK.

He also sits on the boards of a range of companies, including Viapath, the UK largest laboratory/pathology provider, is an advisor to two UK private equity houses, and is an Honorary Professor of Healthcare at the University of Wales.

In his spare time, he continues clinical practice as a radio doctor, where he has a popular weekly call-in show on London’s LBC 97.3FM.  He also works as an expedition medic, supporting people undertaking gruelling challenges around the world.
