CyRisk, a leading player in cyber management and data analytics, has made a significant announcement regarding its enrolment in Munich Re Specialty’s esteemed Reflex Cyber Risk Management programme.

In a strategic move, Munich Re Specialty Insurance unveiled its innovative proactive cyber risk management programme earlier this year. This initiative offers valuable complementary risk control services exclusively to its insured clients in the US.

The programme is designed in collaboration with CyRisk’s team of cybersecurity experts, who are poised to deliver adaptive solutions to the complex landscape of cyber risk.

As per CyRisk’s statement, the centerpiece of their contribution to the program is their virtual Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) advisory service. This specialised service package comprises a duo of 90-minute consultations conducted by CyRisk’s adept consultants. The consultations span an array of crucial topics, ranging from the intricacies of security and vulnerability program management to honing incident response preparedness, as well as addressing privacy concerns and providing regulatory guidance.

In response to CyRisk’s involvement, Maria Long, Assistant Vice President and Cyber and Risk Management Portfolio Leader for Munich Re Specialty, expressed enthusiasm, saying: “We are delighted to be able to connect our policyholders with the team of experts at CyRisk. We developed this program to allow our insureds a confidential setting to improve their cyber maturity with such trusted partners. Investing in our insureds’ cyber maturity is a win-win.”

According to Reinsurance news, Ben Goodman, the CEO and Founder of CyRisk, shared insights on the company’s engagement in the programme, said: “CyRisk is extremely excited to work with Munich Re Specialty on this innovative offering that allows policyholders to address the specific challenges they face in building and maintaining their cybersecurity programmes.

“Our team of experienced cybersecurity professionals work every day with organizations of all sizes, industries, technology stacks, and at all stages of cybersecurity maturity, so we understand what they’re up against. Whether it’s questions about selecting or implementing security controls, prioritizing risk mitigation activities, budgeting, reporting out to leadership, resource planning, policies, and procedures, or building a workable disaster recovery plan, our team is ready to assist.

Goodman added: “Our virtual advisory services will help Munich Re Specialty policyholders to overcome their challenges and strengthen their cyber resiliency across their organisations.”
