Crawford & Company has confirmed the appointment of Bruce Swain as President and Chief Executive Officer, solidifying his leadership after serving in the role on an interim basis since the start of 2026.
The decision marks a key step in the company’s ongoing transformation, as it continues to evolve its global operating model and strengthen alignment across regions. Based in Atlanta, Crawford recently introduced a new structure designed to accelerate its integrated service strategy, bringing operations under two core divisions: U.S. and international.
Swain brings more than three decades of experience within the organisation, including 19 years as Chief Financial Officer. His long tenure and deep operational knowledge position him to drive the company’s next phase of growth, with a focus on enhancing collaboration, scalability, and client service delivery across its global footprint.
He will continue to serve on both the executive leadership team and the Board of Directors, ensuring continuity as the firm builds on its strategic initiatives.
Operating in more than 70 countries, Crawford provides claims management and outsourcing services to insurers and self-insured organisations worldwide. The leadership appointment underscores the company’s commitment to strengthening its global capabilities and delivering a more unified, technology-enabled service model in an increasingly complex claims environment.
