Concirrus has officially launched Concirrus Inspire, an AI-native underwriting platform designed to help specialty insurers and managing general agents (MGAs) accelerate decision-making while maintaining control over underwriting appetite, exposure and portfolio performance.

The platform supports the entire underwriting lifecycle, from submission intake through quoting and binding to post-bind portfolio oversight. Built specifically for the complexities of specialty insurance, Inspire combines line-specific underwriting applications with a line-agnostic policy management foundation, enabling firms to deploy targeted functionality where needed while maintaining consistency across the enterprise.

As specialty insurers scale their operations, balancing growth with operational clarity has become increasingly important. Concirrus said Inspire addresses this challenge by embedding artificial intelligence and automation throughout the underwriting workflow. From submission triage and data extraction to rating and policy administration, the platform reduces manual processing and enables faster, data-backed decisions aligned with organisational risk appetite.

The modular structure allows insurers to adopt Inspire incrementally, avoiding large-scale transformation programmes or complex system integrations. Modules include submission intake, quoting, exposure management, portfolio analytics, adaptive workflows and sanctions screening. Through partnerships, including with Diesta, the platform also extends into automated premium payment and reconciliation, providing continuity from underwriting through to cash receipt.

Inspire is designed to allow underwriters to move from submission to confident decision-making in minutes rather than days. Real-time visibility into exposure and accumulation supports disciplined growth, while AI capabilities automate high-volume tasks, enabling experienced underwriters to focus on more complex risks.

Andrew Yeoman, Chief Executive Officer of Concirrus, commented: “The specialty insurance market is evolving quickly, and underwriting teams need technology that supports both speed and discipline. Inspire is not an incremental upgrade. It is an AI-native underwriting platform designed to remove friction, support better decisions, and give insurers the confidence to scale.”

Concirrus continues to expand its AI-first platform across the UK and US markets. The company recently became the first global insurtech to achieve combined certification under ISO/IEC 42001 for AI governance, ISO/IEC 27001 for information security, and SOC 2 compliance, underscoring its focus on security, data protection and responsible AI use.

As insurers seek to modernise underwriting operations while maintaining control over risk selection and portfolio outcomes, Concirrus positions Inspire as a scalable, future-ready solution built to support specialty market demands.
