Concert Group Announces Full Operational Launch of Harmony Re
Concert Group has officially announced the full operational launch of its risk retention platform, Harmony Re.

The reinsurance sidecar, designed to enhance portfolio diversification and risk management, is now fully functional with a newly appointed board of directors and the leadership of Katarina Scamborova, who has been named President.

Scamborova, who played a pivotal role in establishing Harmony Re, will spearhead the platform’s operations, reporting to Concert CEO John Hendrickson. Harmony Re is positioned to assume risk from Concert’s carriers, strengthening the group’s status as a hybrid fronting carrier and offering innovative solutions to top-tier reinsurers.

The platform’s focus on risk retention and capital management is set to bolster Concert’s ability to offer cutting-edge reinsurance solutions, further solidifying its presence in the insurance and reinsurance markets.

“Harmony Re represents a significant milestone for us, and we are thrilled to welcome Katarina to the executive team at Concert,” said Hendrickson.

He added “Her collaboration with Chief Underwriting Officer Joe Alberti has been instrumental in laying the groundwork for this venture. With her deep expertise in underwriting and operations, we are confident that Harmony Re will thrive under her leadership.”
