Preston brings more than two decades of international experience in the insurance and reinsurance sectors, having held senior executive and board-level roles across both the UK and Bermuda. Most recently, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Aspida Life Re in Bermuda, where he played a key role in financial strategy and operational leadership.
Before joining Aspida, Preston was the Group Chief Accounting Officer at Monument Re Group, where he also served as the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) Approved Group Principal Representative. In this position, he was responsible for strategic financing, regulatory reporting, capital management, investment oversight, and mergers and acquisitions execution. His extensive involvement in Bermuda’s insurance community has included active participation in industry forums, and he is recognised as a strong supporter of the Bermuda International Long Term Insurers and Reinsurers (BILTIR).
Preston holds multiple professional designations, including Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ACA), and Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) in Bermuda.
