The firm said in a LinkedIn post that it was proud that Romagne, with thirty years’ experience, was taking on the role.
It said: “In addition to his international region leadership responsibilities, Bertrand will now be CEO for XLRE Europe. In his new role, he will continue to represent the needs of our clients at a leadership level and will work to strengthen our business across the international region.”
Romagne’s LinkedIn profile states that he has been with AXA XL for four years, joining as chief executive for Europe and CUO of P&C International Re in September 2018.
