AXA UK Partners with Lloyds Banking Group for Motor Insurance
AXA UK has announced a strategic partnership with Lloyds Banking Group to boost motor insurance offerings.

Starting in May 2025, AXA UK will become the exclusive provider of car and van insurance products for Lloyds Banking Group’s customers, including those of Lloyds Bank, Halifax, and Bank of Scotland.

The five-year agreement solidifies AXA UK’s position as a leading provider of motor insurance in the UK and further strengthens its relationship with one of the country’s largest retail banking groups.

Alain Zweibrucker, CEO of AXA Retail, commented on the move, saying: “I’m excited to announce our collaboration with Lloyds Banking Group as we come together to deliver on meeting the evolving needs of our customers. This partnership solidifies our commitment to the UK personal lines market and supports the growth of our business. It’s great news for both our customers and intermediary partners and we look forward to launch in May 2025.”

Jeremy Ward, General Insurance Director at Lloyds Banking Group added: “Peace of mind from a quality policy at the right price is what our customers want, and working together with AXA we’ll be enhancing our cover and offering greater choice to drivers for insurance that best suits their needs.”

Lloyds Banking Group motor and van insurance is currently underwritten by a panel of insurers.
