Richard De Sousa

Richard is the SVP – Deputy Head of Growth & Development leading the pricing, underwriting, client solutions and partnerships teams for individual life reinsurance at SCOR U.S. He is also a board observer at HumanAPI and advisor for Vero. Prior to this role, he led the Strategic Partnerships team at SCOR U.S. and was previously Managing Director of North America and Europe (including Velogica Underwriting Engine in Europe) at ReMark International, an insurtech consultancy business wholly owned by SCOR Global Life. Richard holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Leicester and has lived and worked in various countries including Canada, Netherlands, France, and U.S.
