Jolee Crosby

Since Jolee joined Swiss Re in 1998, she has had several roles within SwissRe.  The roles have been in L&H, P&C and Risk Management – as well as having a Global or Regional focus.  

In May 2019, she joined the L&H Products Executive Leadership team as the Head of Global L&H Underwriting and Medical Reinsurance, providing dedicated leadership to all L&H Underwriting topics, including the execution of the Future of Underwriting initiative.  Additionally, she also leads the Medical Reimbursement product line, globally with the responsibility of helping clients profitably growth their Medical Portfolios, 

In addition to working in L&H, she also has a P&C background in both direct insurance (Corporate Solutions) and reinsurance.  As the Head of US Casualty Claims for Reinsurance, utilizing data analytics, she focused on helping clients manage their portfolio risks as well as individual claims. Prior to that, as a Senior Vice President she led a global Governance team, ensuring the appropriate framework was in place to assess and manage operational risk and Compliance related topics such as Fraud Detection, and Data Protection.  

Jolee received her undergraduate degree in Political Science and her Juris Doctorate of Law from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She practiced law at an Insurance defense firm, where she represented insurance carriers and their customers in litigation both at the trial and appellate levels.
