Biography
Fred Blumer is the CEO and co-founder of Mile Auto, Inc., a pay-per-mile auto insurance solutions provider leveraging patented computer vision and machine learning technologies to help low mileage drivers save money. Fred is also the co-founder and CEO of Porsche Auto Insurance.
Prior to Mile Auto, Fred was co-founder of Hughes Telematics, Inc., providing telematics systems and services for automotive OEMs including Mercedes Benz, as well as creating award-winning usage-based auto insurance solutions for leading insurance companies such as State Farm. Hughes Telematics was acquired by Verizon (NYSE: VZ) in 2012. Fred was the co-creator of Hum® by Verizon, and holds 10 utility patents in connected vehicle data and auto insurance systems.
