The extended agreement ensures continued support for Volvo customers who purchase or service their vehicles through the brand’s retailer network.
As Volvo accelerates its transition to electric vehicles, the partnership will provide specialized roadside services, including advanced diagnostics and dedicated Volvo technicians. Customers experiencing a breakdown can access assistance through phone support or the Allianz Assistance digital hub. The deal also maintains the Service Activated Roadside Assistance (SARA) program, which grants a year of coverage with qualifying vehicle servicing.
Marcus Latchford, Chief Sales and Distribution Officer at Allianz Partners, highlighted the evolution of their services: “Over the last 15 years, our roadside assistance for Volvo has evolved from basic repair and recovery to a fully integrated offering. We work closely with Volvo’s team to drive innovation, enhance customer service, and provide valuable insights into real-world vehicle performance. This feedback loop helps Volvo refine both maintenance strategies and future vehicle development.”
The renewed partnership underscores both companies’ commitment to delivering premium support for Volvo drivers, particularly as the automotive industry shifts toward electrification.
