DigitalOwl has announced a rebrand to ChartSwap Insights, bringing medical record retrieval and AI-powered analysis together under a single unified platform following its acquisition by Datavant.
The updated brand combines DigitalOwl’s AI-driven medical record summarisation and chronology generation with ChartSwap’s nationwide records retrieval network. The result is an end-to-end workflow that allows users to request, track, and analyse medical records within one system, removing the need to coordinate across multiple vendors.
The move is aimed at addressing a long-standing inefficiency in insurance and legal workflows, where record retrieval alone can take months, with analysis adding further delays. By integrating both stages, the platform is designed to shorten turnaround times and improve end-to-end process visibility.
Existing users will not experience any disruption. The core AI system remains in place, with the company stating it continues to deliver over 98% accuracy in medical record analysis, alongside existing workflows and support structures.
The transition to ChartSwap Insights will be rolled out gradually, with a more fully integrated retrieval-to-insight experience expected to expand through 2027.
