Flock has launched a haulage fleet insurance product in partnership with Admiral, marking its first major expansion into the UK haulage segment.

The move extends Flock’s connected insurance model into one of the UK’s largest commercial vehicle markets, combining its data-driven risk approach with Admiral’s underwriting and claims capabilities.
Flock has already deployed its model across multiple fleet segments, including courier, trades, taxi, and rental. In these areas, the company reports a 10% reduction in claims frequency among fleets participating in its risk management programme, helping reduce downtime and associated operational costs.
The UK haulage sector represents a significant opportunity, contributing £13.5bn annually to the economy. With more than 600,000 heavy goods vehicles transporting 1.6 billion tonnes of goods in 2024, and widespread adoption of telematics, the segment is well suited to Flock’s data-led approach.
Ed Leon Klinger said: “Flock’s mission is to make the world quantifiably safer; we aim to prevent claims before they even happen. We’re using driving data to price risk more accurately, working directly with fleet operators to reduce crashes, and financially rewarding safer fleets with lower premiums. This launch, in partnership with Admiral, brings Flock’s unique model into the haulage market with an unparalleled level of claims expertise. We look forward to the upcoming completion of Admiral’s acquisition of Flock.”
The product is supported by the Flock Portal, a digital platform that enables fleet managers to monitor driving behaviour, track risk trends, assess claims performance, and manage policy changes in real time. The offering also includes tailored risk management support and a rebate programme allowing fleets to earn back up to 10% of their premium based on performance.
Emma Huntington added: “Haulage fleets play a vital role in keeping the UK economy moving, connecting businesses, communities and supply chains every single day, and we see a clear opportunity to help them better understand and manage risk on the road. Flock’s model is also built to prevent risk day to day, not just when something goes wrong. By combining this with Admiral’s underwriting and claims expertise, we believe we can drive meaningful change across the sector.”
Flock has already bound a number of haulage risks, indicating early demand from brokers and operators. With Admiral’s backing, the company is now positioned to scale its connected insurance model across the UK haulage market.
