The AI Hub is designed as a collaborative, secure environment where OneShield’s teams, clients, and partners can learn, build, and deploy AI-powered tools. At launch, the hub will provide foundational AI agents and large language model (LLM)-based tools aimed at accelerating high-impact use cases.
“What makes the AI Hub special is its intentional design for interoperability and scale,” said Doug Moore, Chief Innovation Officer at OneShield. “By grounding our use cases in Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) standards, we’re not just automating, we’re laying the foundation for a truly intelligent, collaborative ecosystem across carriers, MGAs, and third-party tools.”
The initiative will support innovation across OneShield’s two core product lines: OneShield Enterprise (OSE) and OneShield Market Solutions (OMS). Among the first applications, an AI agent capable of parsing and structuring SERFF filings in minutes – a process that previously took hours – is already in testing, according to Liza Petrie, President of OSE.
On the OMS side, Rex Blazevich, President of OMS, pointed to ongoing projects such as automated claims triage and intelligent policy summarization. “What the AI Hub gives us is a shared foundation of tools, security, and governance that accelerates delivery while ensuring quality and compliance,” he said.
Tony Villa, CEO of OneShield, called the launch a milestone moment: “This is more than a technology launch; it’s the start of a new era of intelligent insurance operations. The AI Hub will transform how we build and deliver software while empowering insurers to operate faster, smarter, and with greater agility than ever before.”
