The appointment, effective 25 August and subject to regulatory approval, marks a further step in the firm’s UK and European expansion.

Based at IAP’s Lime Street office, Melwani will work alongside existing London partners Clive Buesnel, Bhaven Pathak and Benjamin James. Her arrival adds further momentum to IAP’s growing presence in the region.

Melwani brings over 15 years of experience across investment banking, equity research and corporate banking. She has advised on more than 50 transactions spanning acquisitions, IPOs and capital raises, with clients including insurance brokers, MGAs, insurtechs, re/insurers and asset managers. She joins from Jefferies’ London investment banking and capital markets group, having previously held senior roles at Credit Suisse, Citi, J.P. Morgan and D.E. Shaw.
