This milestone will allow ETAP to independently process claims, collect premiums, and offer innovative auto insurance products directly to consumers and businesses across Ghana.
This move comes through a collaboration with Hollard Insurance Ghana, one of the nation’s leading providers of non-life insurance products. Together, the two companies plan to revolutionise Ghana’s insurance landscape by introducing ETAP-Hollard, an initiative aimed at providing fast, fair, and rewarding auto insurance for a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, motorcycles, and tricycles.
Leveraging Hollard’s extensive local expertise and market presence, ETAP-Hollard will offer a suite of digital insurance services designed for seamless user experiences, instant claims processing, and personalized policy management. The partnership aligns with ETAP’s mission to enhance insurance accessibility and deepen insurance penetration across Africa.
Although insurance penetration in Ghana remains relatively low, currently around 2 percent, the market is seen as ripe for growth. The new ETAP-Hollard partnership is expected to accelerate market expansion by tapping into unmet demand and offering flexible, user-centric insurance solutions tailored to the needs of Ghanaian consumers.
This collaboration between ETAP and Hollard is poised to bring significant advancements in auto insurance, utilising advanced technology to foster a more inclusive and accessible insurance market in Ghana.
