A McKinsey alumna, Silvi has built an international career in insurance across Life & Pensions (Old Mutual), Property & Casualty (If), Broking (Willis Towers Watson), the Lloyd’s Market (Hiscox) and Reinsurance (Swiss Re) over the past 18 years. 

She has had a variety of industry roles across business controlling and  development, sales, underwriting, and strategy. Passionate about the value technology brings to insurance, in 2018 Silvi co-founded FinTech start-up ChAI focused on mitigating price risk in raw materials. 

In her current role at Swiss Re, Silvi leads the global allocation of underwriting capital across the group. 

A Swedish citizen speaking 8 languages, Silvi holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics, specialising in macroeconomics, international trade and corporate finance.
