Bruno graduated in Management Engineering from the Politecnico of Milan, and holds an MBA from the Columbia Business School in New York. Since 2000 he has held various positions at Goldman Sachs and McKinsey. In 2008 he joined Zurich Insurance; in 2010 he became head of sales planning and development at Zurich Italia.

He has been in the Generali Group since 2013, first as Chief Distribution Officer of Generali Italia and then, in October 2014, as CEO of Europ Assistance Italia. In July 2017, he was appointed Group Strategy and Business Accelerator Director. In addition, he currently manages the Business Development and Partnership functions and the Group Bancassurance. He is part of the IRSG working group of the European regulator EIOPA.
