Based in Palo Alto, CA, Hippo has reimagined home insurance through the lens of homeowners \u2013 building policies with more comprehensive coverage for today&#8217;s consumers at up to 25% less than competitors. The high-growth company is valued at $1.5 billion and has expanded its footprint to offer products to more than 70 percent of the US homeowner population.<\/p><p>Prior to Hippo, Wand was founder and CEO of Sabi, which designed and produced elegant everyday products (Sabi was acquired in 2015), a consultant with McKinsey &amp; Company and an investor with Intel Capital.
