Biography
Shwetank Verma is an entrepreneur and investor. He is the co-founder of Leo Capital, an early stage investor in South and South-East Asia.
Shwetank leads insurtech investments of the fund. The fund also invests in Digital Health, Fintech and Consumer. The current portfolio includes BeatO (Diabetes Management), Edureka (Online training), LoanSimple (SME loans) and Flixstock (AI image generation).
Previously, Shwetank led open innovation at MetLife Asia, where he created the collab program for market ready startups. Insurtech partnerships included WorkFusion (RPA), Uniphore (Voice Analytics), Flamingo (Chatbot), MoneyTree (personal finance), Montoux (product pricing) and Democrance (mobile distribution). He speaks internationally on open innovation, digital health and insurtech.
