Biography
As Chief Data Officer, Don Vu leads the data & analytics strategy and execution efforts across Northwestern Mutual’s business, helping to drive organizational transformation at the 160+ year old industry leader. He also helps lead the Northwestern Mutual Data Science Institute, a partnership with Marquette and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Don has 20+ years of experience leading teams and building platforms that drive business outcomes leveraging data, predictive analytics, qualitative research, and a customer-centric lens. Previously, Don led WeWork’s consolidated Central Data & Analytics team, driving data analytics for digital and physical space across 700+ global locations. Prior to that, he worked for Major League Baseball for thirteen years, heading the consolidated Analytics Org as Vice President, Data & Analytics.
