Biography
Ben co-founded Briza, the leading developer platform for commercial insurance, in 2016 and became CEO in 2018.
Prior to Briza, Ben led the D&O, Financial Institutions and Cyber businesses for Markel Bermuda, becoming the market leader in all targeted lines.
Earlier in his career, Ben was the Global Head of Financial Institutions for AIG Cat Excess, based in Bermuda with teams in New York, London, San Francisco and Chicago.
Ben started his career at Chubb Canada in 1999 where he eventually led the Toronto Department of Financial Institutions.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.
